I've lived at Banyan Bay for almost a year and can say that I was swindled by the great reviews on this page. Not only is there a massive German roach problem in my apartment but the front gate has been locked a grand total of two times in the last nine months that I've lived here. The management will say that they fix or are having things in the community fixed but that isn't true.
The landscaping is gorgeous and well maintained. There are 2 ponds with fountains, ducks and a peacock lives here too!. There are 2 big swimming pools and an exercise room. As a pet owner myself I love that they have 2 fenced-in dog parks that let my dog run free whenever he wants. They also supply puppy pouches and dog waste stations everywhere. There are 2 laundry facilities although most apartments have laundry in the unit.

It is a nice complex but people do not respect property, the gate system is always down, and the parking can be a real pain. You'll likely want a car when living in this area since it has few transit options.
